Welcome to our FAQ page! Below, you will find answers to some of the most commonly asked questions about our services. If you cannot find the information you need, please schedule a call for further assistance.

General Questions

Where are you located & what areas do you serve?

-We are located the Dallas Fort Worth Metroplex and we serve clients from all over Texas including San Antonio, Austin, Houston, Dallas, Louisiana, & Oklahoma. 

Is there a minimum whelping duration?

- Whelping Plans are custom to fit your needs and start at a minimum of 1 week 

What is included in my whelping service?

- On hand antibiotics, IV station, Incubator, Oxygen Therapy, Nebulizer with medication, puppy formula, puppy supplements, mommy supplements, Deworming for the entire litter, Mom care, incision care, weekly photos and video updates, weight charting, puppy docs to give to new owners.

What do I need to bring for my dog's stay?

-The only thing you will need to provide will be a high protein puppy food to feed your nursing momma. We provide everything else (bowls, blankets, leashes, treats, beds, etc.)

What is your typical availability?

- Whelping spots are limited to a first come first service basis and are usually booked 2 months in advance. Please fill out the form on page 1 for availability. 

Do you pick up puppies from the hospital? 

-If your vet is within an hour driving distance, we can arrange a pick up at the hospital at no charge or at a halfway point. Please note you may have to drop off mom and her pups if we have other puppies in our possession.

What if something goes wrong while in your care?

-Standard protocols include notifying the owner(s) immediately and letting them decide if they would like be seen by a vet (all vet bills are the responsibility of the owner). We will do everything we can to save a puppy but we will advise and use our best judgement if the puppy needs vet care.

Do you need a deposit to reserve a whelping spot?

-To reserve your whelping spot, a $350 nonrefundable deposit is required to save your reservation. This deposit is not applied to the service, it is a mandatory deposit to guarantee your reservation. We fill up fast on a first come first serve basis. If there is no deposit in place, we cannot guarantee your reservation.

Is there a limit on how many puppies you can take in a litter?

-Any litter 7 or more will be charged a one time service fee of $300 that must be paid before your whelping duration ends.

Do you offer payment plans?

- YES! We offer weekly payment plans with payments due on weekly payment due dates and are applied to the following week of service.

Will I be updated with photos and video during their stay?

-YES! We will be in communication with you every few days and will also send video and/or photos that you can use for advertising. You will also have 24/7 access to My Dawg Mom for any questions or concerns.

Do you only care for French Bulldogs?

- We specialize in bully breeds. Past clients include English Bulldogs, Cane Corsos, American Bullies, Exotic Bullies, French Bulldogs, Yorkies, Maltese, and Belgian Malinois.

Can I come visit my dog while in your care?

- YES! We encourage our pet parents to come and see their mommas and her puppies. Please note only the primary owners are allowed to visit due to safety concerns. We DO NOT ALLOW friends of family and other relatives.
